This vibrant ornamental grass features a clump-forming, arching habit with striking narrow green leaves edged in bright yellow, offering year-round color. Hardy in zones 5-9, it thrives in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 20°F, preferring well-drained, consistently moist soils. Its evergreen foliage provides outstanding textural contrast in borders, containers, or shaded garden areas and displays excellent deer resistance. With a compact form, it matures at a height of 12-18 inches and a similar spread, making it an excellent low-maintenance groundcover.
