Helleborus HGC Ice and Roses 'Picotee'

Helleborus HGC Ice and Roses 'Picotee' is a stunning winter-blooming perennial that brightens the garden when little else is flowering. This hellebore is prized for its large, outward-facing, cup-shaped blooms which feature a unique creamy white color delicately edged with a deep maroon-purple picotee rim. It offers exceptional landscape value for shaded borders, woodland gardens, and as a long-lasting cut flower, bringing elegance and color to the late winter and early spring garden. This low-maintenance plant thrives in well-drained, rich soil and is valued for its evergreen, leathery foliage.

Plant in partial to full shade in a location with rich, moist, well-drained soil. It benefits from an application of compost or well-rotted manure in early spring. Remove old, damaged leaves in late winter before new flower stalks emerge to better display the blooms and improve air circulation. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system.
