Picea abies 'Pusch'

      Description

This dwarf conifer forms a compact habit with a round, mounded shape, making it an excellent choice for small gardens or container planting. Hardy in zones 3–7, it thrives in cooler temperatures and prefers full sun to partial shade. It develops striking red seed cones in spring, which mature to brown, offering unique visual interest. Fall color is not applicable as its evergreen needles retain their vibrant green hue year-round. Adaptable to various soil types, it prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soils and is deer-resistant. Growing up to 2-3 feet in height with similar mature width, it delivers a dense and tidy form that enhances landscapes with minimal maintenance.
