Phygelius x rectus 'Cherry Ripe' is a stunning, semi-evergreen perennial prized for its long-lasting display of cherry-red, tubular flowers that bloom from mid-summer to fall. This vibrant, compact cultivar is ideal for adding vertical interest and rich color to borders, containers, or as a pollinator-friendly accent in sunny garden spots. It thrives in well-drained soil with regular watering and is valued for its ease of care and reliable performance through the season.

Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained, fertile soil. Water regularly to establish and during dry spells. Mulch in colder zones to protect the crown. Prune back lightly in spring to encourage bushier growth and more blooms. Can be grown in containers if given adequate moisture and winter protection in zone 7.
