Penstemon barbatus ROCK CANDY® Ruby

Penstemon barbatus 'ROCK CANDY Ruby' is a vibrant, compact perennial valued for its stunning spires of ruby-red, tubular flowers that bloom profusely from late spring into summer. This showy plant is a magnet for hummingbirds and pollinators, bringing dynamic life to the garden. It's perfect for sunny borders, rock gardens, and containers, where its upright, clumping habit and drought tolerance provide long-lasting color with minimal care.

Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system; once established, it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flower spikes to encourage additional blooming. Cut back in late fall or early spring.
