Rosa climb. 'Valentine's Day' ™ PPAF (red)
DETAILS AND CARE
This vigorous, deciduous climbing shrub boasts a dense, upright habit, perfect for arbors, trellises, or fences. Hardy in zones 5-9, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soils. Its striking, deep red blooms arrive in abundance throughout the growing season, adding a romantic touch to the garden with their classic, slightly fragrant petals. The foliage is glossy and dark green, providing a beautiful contrast to the vivid flowers, and exhibits moderate resistance to deer. Reaching a height of 10-12 feet and spreading 6-8 feet wide, this climber can be trained for vertical interest. It has no significant fall color display but produces ornamental rose hips in late season.
