Rosmarinus officinalis 'Arp'
DETAILS AND CARE
Rosmarinus officinalis 'Arp', commonly known as Arp Rosemary, is an evergreen shrub known for its culinary and aromatic uses. It features a dense, upright habit and is highly recommended for its hardiness, thriving in zones 6 through 9. This hardy rosemary variety can withstand temperatures down to approximately -10°F, making it one of the most cold-tolerant rosemary plants. Arp Rosemary presents narrow, needle-like leaves with a deep green hue and a silvery underside, accompanied by pale blue flowers that bloom in the spring. It reaches a mature height of 3 to 4 feet and a spread of 2 to 3 feet, offering a considerable presence in herb gardens or as an ornamental hedge. Though not specifically marketed for deer resistance, rosemary is generally not preferred by deer due to its aromatic oils.
