DETAILS AND CARE

Rosmarinus officinalis 'Prostratus', commonly known as Creeping Rosemary, is a hardy, low-growing evergreen shrub best suited for USDA hardiness zones 8-10. With its prostrate habit, this variety of rosemary spreads along the ground and is ideal for cascading over walls, in rock gardens, or as ground cover. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating temperatures down to about 20°F (-6°C). The plant features aromatic, needle-like leaves and produces small, pale blue flowers, adding color and fragrance to your garden space. Creeping Rosemary is also deer-resistant and typically reaches a height of 6-12 inches, with a spread of 2-3 feet. Its ability to withstand salty conditions makes it a good choice for coastal gardens.
