DESCRIPTION

Sedum 'Coral Carpet' is a vibrant, low-growing succulent groundcover prized for its colorful foliage and easy-care nature. It forms a dense, mat-forming carpet of fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves that shift from coral-pink in spring to reddish-bronze in cooler weather. In late summer, it produces clusters of tiny, starry pink flowers that attract pollinators. This drought-tolerant perennial is perfect for rock gardens, green roofs, spilling over walls, or as a colorful, weed-suppressing groundcover in sunny, well-drained spots. It thrives on neglect and is ideal for busy gardeners or challenging sites.

PLANTING & CARE

Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Tolerates poor, sandy, or rocky soils. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish roots; after establishment, it is very drought tolerant. Avoid overwatering and soggy soils. No fertilizer needed. Trim back lightly in spring if desired to maintain shape. Propagate easily by division.
