DESCRIPTION

Sempervivum 'Red Delta' is a stunning cultivar of Hens and Chicks prized for its vibrant, pointed rosettes that display a rich red-burgundy hue, especially pronounced in full sun. This hardy succulent forms tight clusters of fleshy leaves, producing numerous offsets ('chicks') to create a dense, colorful groundcover. It's an incredibly easy-care perennial that thrives on neglect, making it perfect for rock gardens, succulent containers, green roofs, and dry, sunny slopes. 'Red Delta' is exceptionally drought-tolerant once established and offers year-round visual interest with its evergreen form.

PLANTING & CARE

Plant in full sun in very well-drained, gritty soil. Excellent for containers, rock gardens, and between pavers. Water sparingly; established plants are highly drought-tolerant. Remove spent flowering rosettes and transplant offsets to propagate.
