DESCRIPTION

Sempervivum 'Royal Ruby' is a stunning succulent prized for its vibrant, ruby-red rosettes that deepen in color with sun exposure. This cold-hardy perennial forms tight clusters of fleshy, pointed leaves, making it a fantastic, low-maintenance choice for rock gardens, containers, and green roofs. Its unique coloration and geometric form add striking texture and year-round interest to dry, sunny spots, requiring minimal water and care once established.

PLANTING & CARE

Plant in full sun in very well-draining soil, such as a gritty succulent mix. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. It thrives in poor, rocky soil and is extremely drought tolerant once established. Remove spent flowering rosettes after they bloom to encourage the surrounding 'chicks' to fill in.
