Symphoricarpos x do. 'Magic Berry'
DETAILS AND CARE
A deciduous shrub with a compact, rounded habit, it is well-suited for gardens in USDA Hardiness Zones 4 to 9. Thriving in full sun to part shade, it prefers well-drained soils but can tolerate a range of conditions. This shrub produces small pink flowers in summer, followed by an abundance of bright pink, ornamental berries in fall, persisting into winter and providing food for wildlife. Though its foliage does not display notable fall color, the berries add vibrant seasonal interest. Reaching a mature height of 3 to 4 feet, it is relatively lightweight with good resistance to deer, making it a low-maintenance and visually appealing addition to any landscape.
